The frame is cut from solid hardwood, not particleboard or veneer, which is what gives the Haven its weight and the settled feeling it has in a room.
The frame is cut and fitted so weight travels through the wood itself, which keeps it tight and quiet through years of wear and tear.
The mattress is high-density memory foam that responds to weight and body heat, spreading pressure across the whole body rather than loading it onto hips and shoulders.
The sleeping surface measures 35 by 26 inches, enough for a dog up to 55 pounds to stretch out fully.
Because the waterproofing sits around the foam rather than in the cover, laundering never affects it.

I don't know what they put in this memory foam but my frenchie Bawan is OBSESSED. We originally had the Haven in the living room and she was in it all day long. Moved it to the bedroom to try it there — she followed it. Moved it back — she followed it again. At this point the bed has more say over where it lives than we do. I've had dogs my whole life and I've never seen one attach to a bed like this. She sleeps in it with her stuffed elephant every night and I genuinely think she's more comfortable than I am. I was NOT planning on writing a review but here I am. My two Yorkies — Gucci and Prada — both came down with a stomach bug at the same time last month. I won't go into detail but the Haven cover took a direct hit. I honestly thought it was ruined. Threw the whole cover in the wash on a normal cycle, put it back on, and it looks completely fine. Zero staining, zero smell. I literally could not believe it. These beds are genuinely easy to clean and I'm now a customer for life. No joke — my sister came over and walked past the Haven and said 'oh is that a new chair?' She genuinely did not register it as a dog bed. That is the highest compliment I can give. I'll keep it short: this is the nicest dog bed I've ever seen in person. The fabric feels expensive, the base is heavy and well-built, and my dog took to it immediately. I was nervous about spending this much but I haven't second-guessed it once.
I have a very specific aesthetic — warm neutrals, natural materials, nothing too matchy-matchy. The Haven fits right in. I put it in the corner of our bedroom and it honestly looks intentional, like I styled it there. My cavapoo Biscuit is obsessed and so am I.
Okay the thing that put me over the edge before buying was seeing that the cover is removable and washable. Can confirm — I've washed it twice now and it comes out perfect. Ok so I'll be real — I pre-ordered during their early batch and my husband thought I was insane for buying something I hadn't seen in person. But it arrived and even HE admitted it looks amazing in our living room. It doesn't look like a dog bed, it looks like furniture. FedEx delivery anywhere in the continental US, at a flat $7. Orders placed before 1pm ship the same business day, otherwise the next, and arrive in 3 to 5 business days with tracking sent as soon as the bed leaves the warehouse. The frame arrives in two pieces and takes about five minutes to assemble with the included hardware.
30-Night Sleep Trial
Your dog sleeps on the bed for 30 nights. The clock starts the day your bed is delivered, and you have until night 30 to email us and start a return.
Your dog may have slept on it and you may have washed the cover. That is the whole point of a trial and it will not affect your refund. You do not arrange or pay for return shipping — we email you a prepaid label and deduct a flat $50 per bed from your refund. Labels expire 10 days after we issue them, so book the drop-off when yours arrives. If the bed arrived damaged, defective or incorrect none of that applies: the label is on us and you are refunded in full.
Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days of inspection, back to the original payment method. Available in the contiguous 48 states.
Size & Fit
One size: 35 × 26 in sleeping surface, for dogs up to about 33 in long. Length matters more than weight. Measure nose to base of tail, lying down. Under 33 in fits with room; 33–36 in is borderline. Roughly dogs to 55 lb.
Warranty
Ten years on the structural frame, the longest guarantee in the category. Joints, hardwood and construction are covered against defects and failure under normal use for a full decade. If the frame breaks or warps we repair or replace it. Your order record is your warranty, so there is nothing to register.
