We started Mafe Pets with a simple belief:

Too often, dog beds and pet essentials feel like an afterthought. Bulky. Disposable. Meant to be hidden when company comes over. They solve a need, but they don’t belong in the home.

And we thought they should.

Coming from a background rooted in interior design and a lifelong love of dogs, we saw the same gap from two sides: beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces on one hand — and poorly made, purely functional pet gear on the other.

There was nothing that honored both.

So we set out to create something different.
