Mafé Pets was created by best friends Mintis and Eve, two people with very different personalities who somehow always shared the same standards for the things they loved — beautiful homes and the pets who live in them.

Mintis has always been the design obsessive. The person who notices proportions, materials, and how every piece in a room contributes to the overall feeling of a space. She's also unapologetically a cat person, someone who believes the small details of a home matter.

Eve is the opposite in the best possible way — deeply practical, endlessly energetic, and entirely dog-obsessed. The kind of person whose home always has a dog following close behind.

Over a Year in the Making

A pursuit of balance between beauty and performance.

Designing The Haven Bed became a year-long pursuit. We didn't set out to make just another pet bed — we wanted to create something that looked like furniture, performed like the best beds on the market, and never needed to be replaced.

We sourced and tested countless fabrics, searching for materials that felt refined yet could handle everyday messes with ease. Every prototype was lived with, slept on, scratched, and washed — over and over again.

Washability was essential. We change our sheets regularly, so we designed a bed that lets you change your pet's sheets too. The cover unzips in seconds and goes straight in the machine.

Every Feature, No Compromise

A bed that has everything — and looks like it belongs.

Most pet beds ask you to choose: good design or good function. We refused. The Haven Bed was built to have every feature a pet deserves — orthopedic support, a wrap-around bolster for nesting, a machine-washable cover — without ever looking like a "pet product."

We studied the furniture in our own homes and asked: why can't a pet bed sit next to a $3,000 sofa and hold its own? So we built one from solid wood and premium upholstery that does exactly that.

After months of real-life testing — with our own pets, in our own homes — we perfected a mattress that supports rest, withstands daily life, and complements your interior. We didn't stop iterating until every detail was right.

The solid wood base is hand-sanded and finished to age beautifully. The high-density foam holds its shape month after month. The fabric resists stains, fur, and scratches. This isn't a bed you replace every year — it's one that gets better with time.
